Year 10 Subjects
In Year 10 students follow the Victorian Curriculum F–10 and are typically in the process of preparing for their senior years of schooling (Years 11 and 12). The Year 10 curriculum is a blend of core subjects that are compulsory and elective subjects that students can choose based on their interests and career aspirations.
In Year 10, students are encouraged to begin thinking about their senior secondary certificate (Years 11 and 12). They can receive advice about the subjects required for the VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) or VCEVM (Victorian Certificate of Education Vocational Major). The subjects they choose in Year 10 can influence their options for these senior secondary certificate, so it is important for students to consider their long-term goals.
